Is it On-Topic to ask a question about Work from Home Issues in workplace SE site? (We have been working remotely due to Covid19)

Given the (currently) 224 questions in the telecommute tag, it's absolutely fine (provided it meets the other criteria mentioned in the Help Center). The Workplace isn't just a physical place; at home ...

Let's talk academic questions

I think that if a problem is exclusive to academia, then yes it should be migrated, but just because the work environment is academia doesn't make it off topic any more than a question about a ...

May I ask what the going rate is for a particular position?

There is no "going rate" for a position. Despite popular belief, it's almost entirely dependent on the company and how well your skill set matches their needs. There may be exceptions for legally ...

Is it On-Topic to ask a question about Work from Home Issues in workplace SE site? (We have been working remotely due to Covid19)

Are questions about other workplaces than the office/telecommute on topic?

As enderland said, we do answer plenty of questions that aren't about a typical office environment, so your question wouldn't be off-topic for that reason. However, I think your specific question ...

Is an answer or comment with indirect slang considered rude / abusive / offensive for this site?

I would have declined the flag for the same reasons as Moto. We do have a 'be nice' policy, we also have 'assume good intentions'. They work together well for a multi-cultural site where ways of ...

Is it On-Topic to ask a question about Work from Home Issues in workplace SE site? (We have been working remotely due to Covid19)

I have a workshop/lab/office at home, 1/4 the problems I get are work related and would be on topic, the other 3/4's are caused by my kids creating havoc, which probably aren't.
